Funded Residencies

Studio Faire opened in March 2018 and currently receives no external funding.

One of our aims is to develop funding opportunities from foundations, trusts and individuals and continue to cultivate partnerships with other funding bodies, organisations and societies who can offer fees and cover other costs to selected visitors. These will be awarded by direct invitation or following an application process. To be kept informed about future opportunities please join our mailing list or follow us on the social media. Links can be found at the bottom of this page.

There are currently no funded residencies to apply for, however, we are happy to help you raise funds through Crowdfunding (more information below).

Crowdfunding

If you have a specific project in mind and you feel that you will be able to convince friends and family that this project will benefit your practice, you may be able to raise the money for your residency through a crowdfunding campaign.

Having run a successful campaign for Studio Faire in 2016, we would be happy to help and advise you with this process should you wish.

We suggest that you plan at least six months ahead of your residency start date.

There are plenty of Crowdfunding websites to choose from. These are rated the top three:

https://www.gofundme.com/

https://www.kickstarter.com/

https://www.indiegogo.com/ (we used this one for our campaign)

Please contact us if you’d like to discuss these funding options further or would like our assistance with your application or campaign.
