Studio Faire Residency Fellowships
OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS FOR RESIDENCY FELLOWSHIPS
The Studio Faire Residency Fellowship will provide accommodation and practical support to two separate creative practitioners for a 2-week period in 2026.
WHO?
We are seeking applications from those who could not manage to self-fund a residency due to financial constraints, but who would benefit from a short period of time and space to focus solely on their creative practice.
Applications are welcomed from visual artists, makers, writers, musicians and all other creative disciplines, at all stages of their careers.
WHAT?
Applicants can apply for a fellowship to cover accommodation costs for a 2-week residency at Studio Faire. They are responsible for all other costs of the residency (materials, travel, subsistence, insurance etc). Studio Faire can support additional fundraising through Grants or Crowdfunding.
WHY?
We’d like to offer creative practitioners with limited financial means a period of research, development and production, as well as an excellent adventure in a foreign culture and the exchange of ideas with all others in residence at the time.
WHEN?
Two successful applicants may choose a time that suit them best from our available dates in 2026.
APPLICATION PROCESS
We will select two applicants based on evidence of their professional experience, quality of past work, project proposal and expected benefits of the residency.
APPLICATION FEE
We do not charge application fees.

Studio Faire is an artist-run space independently administered and funded by us, with kind support from our friends and family listed here. We can only select two fellowships from this open call through the form below. All applicants will be notified of the result of their application by the end of April 2025. We are unable to offer individual feedback on unsuccessful applications. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
