Sunday 31 October 2022,
3-6pm,
The Garage Studio at Studio Faire.

A lovely afternoon was had by all who visited our Open Studio event to meet Canadian artist Collette Broeders and from America, writers Lucille Dawson and Olivia Jampol.

The artwork that had been created by Collette over the ten days prior was displayed throughout the space and visitors were invited to take away a special Japanese stab bound book created during one of her performance pieces ‘Walking a Line’ during which Collette walked on quotes gathered from Shakespeare’s ‘Love’s Labours Lost’, which was set in Nérac.

Lucille and Olivia both entertained with readings from their written work created whilst in residence at Studio Faire. For Lucille this was a young adult novel about facing life after death and for Olivia, a screenplay inspired by the mythologies of Costa Rica.
