All good things must transform.

After nine wonderful seasons of running a creative residency in southwest France, Studio Faire will be closing its doors at the end of the 2026 season.

We’ve built this place from the ground up, and it’s been an extraordinary journey. Along the way, we’ve welcomed 274 creative new friends from around the world and drawn endless inspiration from their incredible talent.

To every artist, writer, dancer and musician who has spent time with us, thank you for choosing Studio Faire for your residency. We’ve always felt genuinely honoured that people have trusted us with a short but significant part of their creative lives. We’re incredibly grateful that you chose to spend some of yours here with us.

To our friends and family who’ve helped us along the way, and to all of you who’ve followed our journey and perhaps hoped one day to visit, thank you for your support. We really do feel it!

We still have six more residents to welcome this year, and we’re looking forward to making the most of our final months. Then it’s time for a new adventure. A new chapter in our lives.

The property is now on the market, so if you, or someone you know, has been following our journey and dreaming of doing something similar, perhaps this is your moment? We’d be happy to pass on our marketing tips … and even throw in some furniture, bedding and crockery!
